Viva Menopause Care

Menopause care starts with the changes that matter to you: hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption, vaginal discomfort, and questions about long-term health. Menopause is usually recognized after twelve months without a period, although contraception, surgery, and some treatments can make the pattern harder to interpret.

About this program

A visit can review your symptoms, medicines, past bleeding, and personal and family health history. In otherwise healthy adults aged forty-five or older, symptoms and menstrual history often provide more useful information than routine hormone panels. Selected tests may help investigate another cause of symptoms.

Hormonal and nonhormonal options have different benefits, limitations, and risks; choosing one requires an individual assessment. Bone health and preventive care can be discussed alongside symptom relief. This programme introduces questions for an evaluation, not a standard prescription or a promise of a particular treatment.

Bring your medicine list, prior results, and any dates of unexpected bleeding. Use the main Viva Centers booking page to request an assessment, and confirm provider, location, cost, and available services. Any bleeding after menopause needs prompt evaluation rather than waiting for a routine symptom visit.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a routine hormone panel?

Often not. In otherwise healthy people aged forty-five or older, symptoms and menstrual history may identify the transition. Testing is selected for the clinical question.

Is hormone therapy suitable for everyone?

No. Your history, symptoms, medicines, and individual risks guide the discussion of hormonal and nonhormonal options.

What if my main concern is vaginal discomfort?

Discuss dryness, pain, urinary symptoms, and their effect on daily life. Evaluation helps distinguish menopause-related symptoms from other causes.

Can I ignore light bleeding after menopause?

No. Even light bleeding needs prompt assessment to identify its cause.

Does this programme replace preventive care?

No. Screening and bone-health decisions remain individualized and can be discussed alongside symptom management.

How do I request a visit?

Use the main Viva Centers appointment page. Confirm the provider, available services, location, and cost before nonurgent care.

What history matters before discussing treatment?

Bring your medicine list and information about previous bleeding, surgeries, and major health conditions. Your provider considers personal and family history alongside the symptoms that most affect your life. Different options have different risks, so an assessment should guide the discussion rather than a standard treatment package.

How do I prepare when several symptoms overlap?

Describe what changed, when it started, and what affects sleep or daily activities. Bring previous results rather than repeating tests automatically. Some symptoms may have another cause, and a follow-up plan can help review the response to selected care and decide whether further assessment is needed.

Urgent symptoms

  • Call 911 for heavy bleeding with fainting, chest pain, or shortness of breath. Do not wait for a routine programme appointment.
  • Seek prompt assessment for any bleeding after menopause
  • Sudden severe pelvic pain, especially with fainting, needs emergency evaluation
